Gmail connection help
Connect, sync, troubleshoot, or disconnect the read-only Wallet import.

Connect and sync
- Sign in to Pointum and open Wallet.
- Select Connect Gmail and review Google's read-only consent screen.
- Return to Wallet. Pointum syncs eligible statements with deterministic rules; you may separately enable the disclosed AI fallback. Use Sync now whenever you want to check again.
What the connection reads
The connection searches only supported airline and bank loyalty-statement messages that match Pointum's sender filters. Matching content is parsed in memory for a balance; unrelated email is not used. AI processing remains off unless you enable it in Wallet.
If a balance is missing
- Confirm that the loyalty program has sent a statement to this Gmail account.
- A sender or program not yet on the supported allowlist is skipped.
- Select Sync now after a new statement arrives.
- Unrecognized or ambiguous statement formats are skipped rather than guessed. You can opt into AI statement fallback in Wallet; its candidates still require your confirmation.
Disconnect
In Wallet, select Disconnect Gmail and confirm. This removes Pointum's credential and the balances and source metadata imported through that connection.
